We don't sell time. We sell an experience.
GCS.DBN is a one-man custom watch studio based in Dublin, Ireland. Every piece is built by hand. Every piece is built to be worn.
The Origin
I moved to Dublin from Lithuania with nothing in the watch industry. No connections. No training. No plan to start a brand.
What I had was a G-Shock I thought could look better.
The Casio G-Shock is one of the most reliable watches ever made. Shock-proof. 200 metres water resistant. Built to take punishment. But if we're being honest — it was never built to turn heads.
I wanted to change that. Take something engineered to last and make it something you're proud to wear. Not a tool hidden under your sleeve. A statement on your wrist.
So I started modding. Trial and error. Taking watches apart and putting them back together. Learning what works, what doesn't, and what makes people stop and ask "where did you get that?"
GCS.DBN launched in November 2025. I was 19.
**How every piece is made**
Every GCS.DBN watch starts as a brand-new, genuine Casio G-Shock. The original module — the heart of the watch — stays untouched. That's what gives you the reliability Casio is known for: world time, stopwatch, alarms, 200m water resistance. That doesn't change.
What changes is everything you see.
The stock resin case and strap are replaced with 316L stainless steel components — the same grade used in surgical instruments and high-end jewellery. Cases are hand-finished in frosted, polished, or blackout treatments. Dials are customised, sometimes hand-detailed. Bezels are fitted. Bracelets are sized and adjusted.
Every watch is assembled, checked, and packed by one person. Me.
There's no factory. No production line. No batch of 500 identical units. If something doesn't meet the standard, it doesn't ship.
Why "Who cares, I'm already late"
The signature Late Edition dial carries a line that's become the DNA of this brand.
It's not about being careless with time. It's about not being controlled by it.
A GCS.DBN watch isn't for checking the time — you have a phone for that. It's for wearing something that says you move on your own terms.
